Summer doesn’t just offer a break from the classroom, it also provides time to prepare for the upcoming school year with all of those social expectations - both in class and on the playground!

Could your child use a social skills boost?  At Expressive Therapy Center’s Xpress Yourself Social Skills Camp, kids work on just that while enjoying a fun week with friends!

During camp, therapists work with children grouped by age and developmental ability, through activities such as art and games, music, role playing, relaxation techniques, creating “All About Me” books, and other traditional therapeutic techniques.

The curriculum is designed to help your child gain skills in: increasing self-esteem, making and keeping friends, dealing with bullies, identifying and expressing feelings in a constructive manner, reading verbal and non-verbal cues, resolving conflicts, setting goals, problem solving and creating organizational strategies for school and life.

Give your child a great head start to the 2014-2015 school year by giving them a GREAT week of camp offering both valuable life skills and new friends!

Camp hours: 10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Before and aftercare available for an additional fee paid directly to Expressive Therapy Center.

Price does not include a $20 materials fee paid directly to Expressive Therapy Center that covers art supplies, daily snacks and a pizza party on Friday.

Must complete and submit a brief two-page registration form by June 30, 2014.
