This camp is SLAMMIN' and this deal is off the HOOK. Slam City Basketball is offering week long basketball camps all summer for boys and girls who have a heart for hoops. Hosted at family favorite nZone in Chantilly, campers will take to the courts to learn and play in a dynamic, upbeat environment with a focus on character and competition. The goal of Slam City Basketball is to teach the fundamentals of offense, defense, and teamwork and to help make each camper better on AND off the court.  

Coach Walter Webb, Slam City Founder and High School National Basketball Championship Coach, will be on hand at every camp to teach kids great skills and show them how to apply them in live game situations.  Campers will be grouped by age and ability to ensure fun and learning for everyone. 

• Offensive drills include shooting, ball-handling, and rebounding, offensive angles, passing, mid-range and long-range shots, offensive strategies, footwork and more.
• Defensive drills include rebounding, footwork, timing, defensive strategies, help-side/help recover, and more.

Five general camp sessions are offered in summer 2014 for the casual to serious player.

• Aug 11 - 15

Three speciality session are also offered this summer.

• June 30 - July 3 Elite Camp. 4 days for serious players ages 5 - 16.  Elite camp is for those who are serious about basketball, serious about hard work and getting better.  This week will be more intense than the others.  Not based on skills alone, but on mindset.  This week is not a good fit for new or casual players.
• July 7 - 11 Team Camp. Team camp is for teams and individuals.  Campers will be placed on a team and taught team concepts, your role on a team, and all positions.
• July 14 - 18 Girls Only! Just like it sounds.

$99 Basketball Camp Information:

• For new families only.
• Ages 5 - 16. 
• Hours 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
• Extended Hours available paid directly to business at time of registration. Extended hours are 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. $100 for entire week before and after care.  $50 for before care only. $50 for after care only.
• Limit two vouchers per family. 
• Must purchase a $10 Camp Shirt on first day of camp.
• Snacks, meals and drinks available for purchase.  You can also bring snack and packed lunches with you.

• For new families only.
• Age groups 5-10, 11-14, 15-18
• The one-month Skills Academy must be used in 4 consecutive weeks.
• The two-month Skills Acadmey must be used over two consecutive months and cannot be split across weeks or months.
• You may purchase only one Basketball Skills Academy program (either one month or two month, but not both.)
• Training Session Times are by grade and are held Saturdays (between 9:00am & 3pm), Sundays (between 1:00pm & 5pm) and Mondays (between 6pm & 9pm). You may pick TWO times to attend each week.  Contact Slam City of up to date schedule information.
