Harpers Ferry Adventure Center is just a stone’s throw down the way at the northern tip of Loudoun County, near Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. At just about an hour away from DC and Baltimore, it's EASY driving distance for a day of play.

White Water Rafting trips begin with an informative drift down a short flat water section on the Shenandoah River where you’ll learn general orientation to rafting and some of the basics like:

• Paddle Strokes,

• Maneuvering Techniques,

• and River Safety skills.

You might even spy an osprey or bald eagle! The real thrills and spills begin when you hit Bull Falls. You’ll hear the adventure before you see it, nature’s roller coaster is that awesome! As you continue downstream you’ll encounter: Bull’s Tail, the Shenandoah’s mile-long Staircase, Mad Dog, White Horse, Hesitation Ledge, Roller Coaster, and more!

Tubing and Jumping Pillow adventures are a little more tame, but just as much fun! Float down the flat water, just chillin’ out on a tube OR get adventurous with a white water tubing tour. Your tubin’ tour takes you on a float down a 1.5 mile stretch of mellow waters on the beautiful Shenandoah River.  You can catch the bus ride from Millville to the put-in point as many times as you'd like throughout the day.  Once you are ready to head home hop aboard the bus back to the base and you'll be brought back to your car.

When you’ve topped off your tubing for the day launch your fun factor into the air on the GIGANTIC Jumping Pillow. This huge, air-filled pillow is like a giant and SAFE outdoor trampoline - perfect for releasing extra energy....and assuring a good night's sleep!

Rafting Voucher Includes:

• ALL fees (user fee, booking fee and sales tax)
• All trips include: the raft, a guide in each raft, PFD (Personal Flotation Device), helmet, paddle, beverage during the trip, and shuttle to and from the river.

Rafts seat up to 6 people.

White water rafting trips depart daily at 10am and 2pm throughout the spring. During the Summer (Memorial Day - Labor Day) trips depart: Weekdays 10:00am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm, Saturdays 9:30am and 2:30pm, Sundays 9:30am, 12:00pm and 2:30pm. Trips last approximately 2.5-3 hours.

For ages 5 and up and 50lbs minimum. Smallest life jacket available is for minimum of 50 lbs. Children do NOT need to know how to swim for rafting trips.

Tube and Jump Pillow Includes:

• All Fees (user fee, booking fee and sales tax)
• Your choice of either FLAT water or WHITE water tubing for ALL day tubing
• All trips include: a tube, PFD (Personal Flotation Device), shuttle to and from the river - as many times as you want, and parking.
• Jumping Pillow day pass.  55' x 30' Jumping Pillow has PLENTY of room for everyone!

Tubing Trips depart: Weekdays - 10:00am-3:00pm - Shuttles leave approximately every hour.
Weekends - 9:30am-4:00pm - Shuttles leave approximately every half hour.

Children must weigh at least 50 lbs, and be accompanied by an adult for flat water tubing. Children must be at least 12 years old for white water tubing. Age and weight requirements may vary due to river conditions.

Children MUST know how to swim for tube trips.

General info for BOTH Rafting and Tubing:

• Reservations are required.
• Please call in advance to ensure that the water levels are not too high if there has been recent heavy rain storms.
• You will get wet - so please dress appropriately. Splash tops and wetsuits are available to rent for an extra fee. 
• Good ANY DAY through June 30, 2014, and Monday to Friday ONLY from July 1- August 31, 2014.
• BLACKOUT DATE: Friday, July 4, 2014
