Hometown Harvest is owned and operated by farmers. They source local produce as much as possible but outsource from other family farms across the country in cooler east coast months.
Winter produce bags typically include root veggies, apples, greenhouse and micro greens - ALL TRULY FARM FRESH - MUCH fresher than you find at any grocery store and MORE convenient than going to the farmer's market.
You will have 20-30 fruits and veggies to select from with a custom produce bag. Here's a Sample SMALL Bag of Winter Veggies from Local & Certified Organic Family Farms:

- Click on " Not a Customer" and complete a New Customer Profile so Hometown Harvest knows where to deliver your bag! Don't worry; you are not signing up for re-occuring produce delivery, however you will need to enter your CC info.
- Enter the Vendor code number (found under the 12-digit CertifiKID code on your voucher) in the Discount code box on the Hometown Harvest website
- Take a look at the "Week of" and click on a specific week to see what is being included in the small bag. If you want to swap out any fruits or veggies, include it in the comments section when you create your profile.
- You will asked to leave a cooler outside for your produce to be delivered to (to keep them away from critters and from freezing outside). You can add information in the comments sections, such as cooler is next to garage, etc.
- The $1.50 reusable bag is included in the price of this deal. If you decide to place a re-occurring order and return the bag, you do not have to pay for the bag again.
