The Race for Every Child 5K and Kids’ Dash supports Children's National Health System and raises funds for specialized medical care, research into childhood diseases, and so much more. Lace up the entire family for a great day loaded with kids' activities - all for a great cause!

The 3rd annual Race for Every Child 5K course starts at Freedom Plaza on Saturday, October 3. The course offers gorgeous views as you work your way toward the US Capitol Building and the southeastern edge of the National Mall. Live bands along the course will keep you energized as you race alongside thousands of supporters. This is a timed course that is stroller friendly and wheel chair friendly! Kids under 3 are free! 

Do your kids want a shorter distance? Kids ages 3 - 10 can sign up for the 100-yard Kids Dash for only $10. Kids will receive a t-shirt, and Dr. Bear finisher medal and the Kids Dash entry fee allows young runners to also run the 5K with mom and dad for free.

Every child will adore the Race Day activities:

• Superhero Meet and Greet and local mascots
• Fit Kids Exercise Fun Zone including an agility obstacle course, hula hoop zone, and football madness.
• Sports Inflatables by Great Kids Events
• Face Painting and Balloon Art by Great Kids Events

Costco will provide complimentary beverages and snacks to participants and Food trucks will be available for purchase

Location: Start line for the race events will be at Freedom Plaza, 13th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC.

Event Date and Time: Saturday October 3, 2015.

• 5K Run/Walk - 8:45 AM 
• Kids Dash – 10:15 AM

Voucher Includes: $25 for one entry to the Race for Every Child 5K Run/Walk. Includes a race t-shirt and access to all the pre- and post-race fun!

Event Details:

• The 5K Run/Walk is a stroller friendly and wheelchair friendly event.
• This is a timed race
•  While this is a very important fundraiser for Children's Health System, you are not required to raise money to participate in this event.
• Children under 3 are free.
• The Kids’ Dash has a $10 entry fee which allows kids ages 3 - 10 to enjoy the 100-yard dash and the 5K if they choose to run it too. This entry fee is paid directly to the Race for Every Child and you need to register on the website – www.raceforeverychild.org 
• Packet pick up will be held at various area locations on Friday October 2, 2015. Details will be updated HERE. Packet pick up on race day will run from 7:00 to 8:30 AM.
• There is no onsite registration for the 5K or Kids Dash the day of the event.
• No refunds can be issued after purchase.
• This deal is redeemable for admission to a specific ticketed event and venue. It has no value once the event date and time has passed and is only refundable on day of purchase. Vouchers are not refunded for inclement weather. 

How to Redeem:

• Within 48 hours of purchasing this voucher, you will receive instructions for how to register. You will be provided a unique promotional code so that you may register at www.raceforeverychild.org. You cannot use your 12-digit CertifiKID coupon code to register.
