Sports International provides elite basketball training in an environment that will motivate your athlete to want to get better and enhance his/her game to their highest potential. Your son or daughter will have the opportunity to learn from current and/or former NBA players and learn to strive on and off the court!

Their outstanding coaching staff will teach the skills to bring each camper’s game to the next level - period! They concentrate on the fundamentals of the game and having fun in an encouraging environment!

Camp Features:

• Staff composed of the best local current and former coaches and players available from the college and high school levels. Their amazing staff will provide the best instruction available while offering an enormous amount of encouragement and enthusiasm.
• Their philosophy is to "let them have fun" while learning the great game of basketball!
• Camp headliners & guests will teach your camper the same top level skills they were taught by their high school, college and NBA coaches!
• Players learn more than just basketball at camp. They are taught about teamwork, consideration of others, self-discipline, and how to attain their potential in sports and in life. Players also learn the importance of achieving good grades and selecting correct role models.
• The camps may also feature guest speakers and guest coaches.
• Each player will receive a FREE Basketball Camp t-shirt!
• In addition to the expert level of training, each player will get an autograph from headliners and the guests at camp!
• Each player will receive a detailed skills assessment after camp filled out by the coaching staff.
• Campers will take a professional photo with Juan Dixon - all-time Maryland Terrapins leading scorer and 17th overall draft pick in the 2002 NBA Draft by the Washington, Wizards - or Jake Layman of the Maryland Terrapins (depending on camp selected).

Camp Dates:

• July 25th - 29th at Get Good Field House in Laurel
• August 1st - 5th at Discovery Sports Center in Germantown

Camp Hours:

• Check in on the first day of camp begins at 8:00am.
• Regular camp hours for the remainder of the week are 8:45am - 4:00pm.
• Before care is available from 8:00am - 9:00am for an additional $25 for the week, payable directly to Sports International.
• After care is available from 4:00pm - 5:00pm for an additional $25 for the week, payable directly to Sports International.

Ages: 

• For boys and girls ages 6-17
• Players are grouped by age and skill level

Additional Purchase Information:

• Please select your desired camp session and location at checkout.
• Valid ONLY for the Sports International Juan Dixon or Jake Layman Basketball Camp for the dates and locations specified above.
• Multiple vouchers may be purchased and redeemed - for multiple camp sessions or multiple children.
• Camp is for boys and girls of all skill levels.
• All staff members go through a mandatory background check before being allowed to instruct at the camp.
• Camp tuition includes instruction from pros (current and former), all practices during camp, supervision, skills assessment, and a camp T-shirt.
• Photo packages can be ordered before and after camp. Order forms will be provided after you enroll.
• Athletic trainer on duty at all times to attend to the campers' needs.
• Supervised Before and After care are available for additional fees, payable directly to Sports International Basketball Camp.
• 7:1 ratio of campers to coaches.
