The Details
Does your child love to climb, bounce, swing, and jump? Dynamite Gymnastics Center, opened in 2009, is proud to offer summer camps in Artistic gymnastics, Tumbling & Trampoline (TNT), and Agility for children aged 3½ - 17. A combination of gymnastics instruction, games, crafts, and free play, their camps provide a great balance of fun, learning, and exercise.
During morning sessions (8:45 – 11:45 am), campers will learn gymnastics and participate in other age-appropriate activities. The pre-school campers rotate between gymnastics and arts & crafts, followed by snack and story time; school-aged campers spend the entire morning in the gym rotating among the apparatus (i.e., beams, bars, vault, tumbling floors, trampolines, and a foam pit).
The lunch break (11:45 am – 1:00 pm) includes time for lunch, board games, and independent time (i.e., reading and relaxing). During the afternoon, campers can choose from a variety of activities including trampoline, arts & crafts, and games. Sessions to learn specific gymnastics skills, including cartwheels, will also be included as afternoon rotations. Full-day campers will spend time in the afternoon preparing for the end-of-the-week performance, which is held on Fridays at 4:00 pm. Parents are invited to come and watch the show!
