They say that the family that plays together, stays together. The organizers of the Naked Foot 5K say the family that runs together has FUN together. They are out to prove that theory with one of the most family-friendly races in town!

This isn't just your typical 5K!  The organizers have partnered with the charity Soles4Souls to up the feel-good factor. They encourage runners to bring a pair of shoes to donate to charity and then challenge folks to run barefoot (although completely optional)!  The event also benefits local non-profit Teens Run D.C. PLUS - by making entry for kids under 12 FREE - they are encouraging kids to get out and get active!

The course is kept a guarded secret until race day, but we can tell you this isn’t some boring road race gang. Be prepared for a cross country-like adventurous course! In addition to the fun of an exciting run there are lots of FREE fun events set up for the entire family after the run including a kids 1k race , "foot painting", foot massages, yoga stretching session, live music, a raffle for a chance to win amazing prizes, a shoe kicking contest and a "Bare Like" expo where you can taste some great organic foods, and try out crossfit, parkour or a game of BareBall.   

So get those feet naked (or not), RUN and have FUN!

One purchase require per adult.

To Register:
After purchasing your deal, bring your printed CertifiKid voucher to one of the packet pick-up locations, fill out a waiver and registration form. You will then be officially registered and receive your shirts/bibs.

Registration Locations & Dates:
June 23rd between 1-6pm at Hudson Trail Outfitters or day of (June 24th) from 7:30-8:30 a.m.  

Race Info:
Kids 1k starts at 8:30 a.m., 5k starts at 9 a.m.  Kids under 12 run free in both races.
