Game! Set! Match! Ed Tripp Tennis Camp will have your kids ready to volley, rally and swing their way into summer! This a fun, upbeat program designed to teach tennis while having fun and building confidence and self-esteem. This camp is based on the USTA 10 under curriculum and equipment, which includes balls that bounce lower and slower plus specially designed nets. Campers are divided into groups of six or less based on their age and ability. A typical day at camp starts with warm up and stroke production. At 11 a.m. they do “stroke of the day” where campers focus on a highlighted area in a fun, yet instructive way. Midday is an hour lunch and supervised swim period followed by an afternoon of match play and skill building tennis camp games. On very hot days extra time may be spent at the pool. Campers are grouped each Monday morning based on skill level and friendship requests.

Tennis anyone? Venus and Serena started out early, and look where that got them.  Whether a novice or a tournament player, have your athlete train with the best this summer at NOVA D1 Tennis Camp in Falls Church! Led by Coach Eben Donkor, a Professional Tennis Registry certified Master of Tennis, NOVA D1 Tennis Camp takes a personal coaching approach to find your athlete's potential, developing strong fundamentals and taking their game to the next level. Each camp is tailored by age and skill level with a 4:1 player to coach ratio. Here's a typical camp week: Monday: Baseline for the first half of the day, matches the second half of the day. Tuesday: The first half of the day is a two path session, pick your practice Session and net play theme session. Matches the second half of the day. Wednesday: The theme of the day is serves and overheads. Matches the 2nd half of the day. Thursday: Specialty shots (weapon development, drop shots, angles, lobs, topspin) and match play strategy. Matches the second half of the day. Friday: Tournament/Davis Cup. Matches are played the whole day.
