Bury the Hatchet Axe Throwing Experience
Bensalem, King of Prussia & Philadelphia, PA and Cherry Hill & Toms River, NJ
https://burythehatchet.com/ Unique code for each location
Don't you think it's about time you Bury the Hatchet? You know, the exciting new Axe Throwing Experience that has taken the U.S. by storm! Enjoy the thrill of throwing an axe at a wooden target at Bury the Hatchet's indoor facility, in one of their five Philly area locations - Bensalem, Downtown Philly & King of Prussia, PA and Cherry Hill & Toms River, NJ. Organize a group of up to 6 people and book your CertifiKID deal for up to 31% Off this one-of-a-kind experience. Here's how it works: During your 2-hour session, you play multiple games against a variety of opponents in a round robin tournament. You throw against a partner at a target and the person with the most points after 10 throws wins that game. Winners advance to play tougher opponents while those in the non-winners bracket continue to play against others of a similar fate. No matter where your talents lie, everyone can throw an axe and everyone can make it stick! In between turns, continue the fun by watching from the sidelines, enjoying a drink or two and socializing with friends old and new. This may sound like a dangerous way to spend a Saturday night but stay with us for a minute. First of all, safety is #1 at Bury the Hatchet. They operate a very controlled environment and each guest who enters must go through their safety briefing and training session before they are allowed to participate. Once official play begins, each lane has its own designated Axe Master to oversee games and ensure participants stick to their stringent safety standards. Axe throwing has a rich history and can be experienced by anyone ages 14 and older. Chances are, you've never thrown an axe before. Fear not, the art of throwing an axe is determined by your form, not your strength so anyone regardless of how often you hit the gym, can do it! It's a great family outing with your hard-to-please teens, an excellent way to spice up date night and even adds some competitive fun to a couples night out!

Philadelphia Insectarium and Butterfly Pavilion Admission for Two or Four Adults or Children
Philadelphia’s largest arthropod collection offers interactive exhibits and tours. What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? We are proud to be Philadelphia’s newest science museum and to showcase one of the most diverse living arthropod collections in the United States. With two floors of new museum exhibits, a 7,000 square foot tropical butterfly pavilion, and educational programming, we offer a unique and interactive experience for all to enjoy. What was the inspiration to start or run this business? This museum was started to teach people about fascinating creatures they might otherwise overlook. We are fully committed to educating the public about the environmental importance of arthropods. Our community events, classes, and free programs help us to teach individuals about the ecology of the most important group of animals in the world: insects! What do you love most about your job? It’s nice to work in a place where people come in happy and leave happier. Often visitors are taking a family trip, a school trip, or a break from work. People here are in a good mood and excited to see things they have never seen before. It’s the next best thing to sitting in the international arrivals gate at the airport and watching people’s reactions to being reunited with loved ones. What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer? People say “thank you” a lot as they leave. It makes all of us here very happy to know that the hard work we put in does not go unnoticed. We also get a fair number of kids who start crying when it’s time to leave the butterfly pavilion. I don’t like seeing kids cry but it’s nice to know they liked it that much.

Speed Raceway 14-Lap Indoor Go-Kart Race and Annual Race Pace for Two, Four, or Six
Cinnaminson, NJ & Horsham, PA
Oil stains, acrid gasoline smells, billowing clouds of exhaust—visitors won't find any of these at Speed Raceway. An indoor go-kart facility that employs as much eco-friendly technology as possible, the center's Italian-made OTL Storm Karts run entirely on electricity. But that doesn't mean they're lacking in horsepower. Each reaches speeds of up to 45 miles-per-hour, according to Philadelphia Magazine, which included Speed Raceway in its 2013 Best of Philly feature. With two European-style tracks, drivers can hit top speeds on straightaways before sliding around hairpin turns over 12 laps for kids or 14 laps for adults. Despite the velocities reached, safety remains of paramount importance. Race officials use colored flags to communicate with the drivers: green means "race away," yellow means "ease up while a situation is being resolved," and teal means "hey, look at this teal flag I found in the closet." At the end of each race, every participant receives a printed results sheet complete with lap times and statistics. After completing a safety-training course and receiving an annual racing license (a $6 value/person), each racer dons a helmet and tests their skills over 14 adrenaline-pumping laps (a $20 value/person). Must be 12 or older and at least 56” tall for adult karts; must be 6 or older and at least 48” tall for junior karts.
