Can camp have a lifelong effect on your child, one that makes them stronger, more confident and builds bonds that last far beyond one summer? If they go to Camp Robin Hood it can, and we know this first hand. CertifiKID’s co-founder is a Camp Robin Hood alum who looks back with a deep seeded fondness on summer days spent in this New Hampshire haven, which his own children now get to experience for themselves. Set on 180 acres just outside of White Mountain National Forest, Camp Robin Hood is more than just an overnight summer camp—it is a tradition, a legacy, and a home away from home. Since 1927, thousands of parents have dropped their children off at Camp Robin Hood hoping that they’d have fun at camp, only to return and find that fun was just the beginning. Camp Robin Hood has all the charm of New England camps of a bygone era, with none of the pretense that seems to have taken over most. Here the staff and counselors focus on encouraging campers in an inviting and supportive way that builds community, relationships, and memories. Camp Robin Hood has had such an impact on campers that much of their caring and attentive staff is composed of young men and women who grew up as campers in the Robin Hood community. In fact the current owners of Camp Robin Hood were counselors themselves back when our co-founder was a camper. It’s this understanding of the enduring positive influence of the Robin Hood experience that sets this camp apart from all the rest. The legacy and unique environment of Camp Robin Hood sets the stage for tons of summer fun: Hiking & Trips Team & Individual Sports Arts & Crafts Boating & Water Sports on Lake Ossipee Fitness and MUCH more! From the newest counselor to seasoned staff and ownership, all the people who have a part in running Camp Robin Hood believe it is their responsibility to provide your child with a structured, supportive environment, where they can make lasting friendships, understand the importance of mutual respect, and learn to challenge themselves as they grow. A summer at Camp Robin Hood will be a season they’ll never forget. This offer has special meaning to the CertifiKID family. Our co-founder went to Robin Hood for many years as a camper and counselor. Now his children (boy and girl) go to the camp where they too cherish their summers at this New Hampshire haven. With this offer, we hope that other children will be able to experience the same “magic in the trees” that our family has at the Realm of Robin Hood.

Of course I didn't realize it at the time (since I was so young and too busy having fun!), but as I grew older, I realized that it was at camp where I truly learned the values of friendship, inclusiveness, and self-awareness at such an early age. Camp provides an immersive environment where young girls are required to foster and develop their sense of independence, confidence, teamwork, and conflict resolution. My 5-year old daughter has already heard the legends, songs, and traditions of Camp Netimus, and I can't wait until she's old enough to experience it for herself. -- Amy F.
