Lego Ocean Adventure Camp - What’s down there in the deep dark ocean? Let’s go explore! Create your own submarines, boats, robots, tools, underwater buildings and more using Legos™ and other materials while exploring the mysteries of the ocean! Do mermaids really exist? Where are the lost treasures and shipwrecks? Can we find giant squids and great white sharks? Can we talk to the dolphins? And is there really a lost city of Atlantis? Solve these challenges and more each day as we explore the vast and largely undiscovered world of the ocean. Tuition includes toys and materials to continue learning and exploring at home. Educational value: creative thinking, design, teamwork, life science, oceanography, engineering, physics, math, technology.
Wizards & Magic Camp - Enter the amazing world of wizards and magic this summer! What looks like magic is really science, and you can do it too! Make color-changing potions, write disappearing messages, make objects float, create secret compartments, make coins disappear, see around corners, move things with invisible forces – even make a person disappear! Camp ends with a mind-blowing magic show performed by the campers for their grownups. Tuition includes toys and materials to continue mastering “magic” at home. Educational value: creative thinking, design, teamwork, chemistry, physics, engineering, math.
Doctor Camp - Want to be a doctor someday? Spend a week with us learning how! Take apart models of the brain, heart, skeleton and body. Explore how your eyes, ears and reflexes work. Gather and grow germs. View cells under a microscope. Discover why you get a fever, what causes bruises, and how your body heals cuts. Read x-rays. Take your blood pressure and listen to your heartbeat. Even learn a little about the gross stuff, like pee, poop, farts, spit and boogers, and what they can tell you about how healthy you are. Tuition includes toys and materials to continue being a doctor at home. Educational value: teamwork, chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, technology.
Veterinarian Camp - Want to be a veterinarian someday? We’ll get you started! Learn what veterinarians do, the tools and instruments they use, and the kinds of animals they take care of – from pets to farm animals to animals in the wild. View x-rays, take apart body models, and view slides under a microscope. Learn how to tell whether an animal is sick, and what to do if you find an injured animal. Learn how to check eyes, ears and mouths, and what to look for. Though we will use models, stuffed animals and videos to learn from in camp, we will also have real animals visit, including dogs, birds, guinea pigs and turtles! Tuition includes toys and materials to continue being a veterinarian at home. Educational value: teamwork, chemistry, physics, biology, zoology, engineering, technology.
