Grab the kids and race into D.C. for a fun-filled 5K with a serious purpose.  The Race for Every Child 5K and Kids Dash supports Children's National Health System and raises funds for specialized medical care, research into childhood diseases, and so much more. Lace up the entire family for a great day loaded with kids' activities - all for a great cause! 

The 2nd annual Race for Every Child 5K course gets it start at Freedom Plaza on Saturday September 13. The course offers gorgeous views as you work your way toward the US Capitol Building and the southeastern edge of the National Mall. Live bands along the course will keep you energized as you race alongside thousands of supporters. This is a timed course that is stroller friendly and and wheel chair friendly! Kids under 3 are free!  Kids 3 - 10 years old can participate for only $10.

Do your kids want a shorter distance? Runners ages 3 - 10 can sign up for the 100-yard Kids Dash for only $10. Kids will receive a t-shirt, a finisher medal and the Kids Dash entry fee allows young runners to also run the 5K with mom and dad for free. Kids under 3 are free for both events!

Every child will adore the Race Day activities:

Location:  Start line for the race events will be at Freedom Plaza, 14th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington DC.

Event Date and Time:  Saturday September 13, 2014.  

• 5K Run/Walk - 8:30 AM 
• Kids Dash - 9:30 AM
• Please refer to the race website at www.raceforeverychild.org for the most up to date details.

Voucher Includes: $25 for one entry to the Race for Every Child 5K Run/Walk. Includes a race t-shirt and access to all the pre- and post race fun!

Event Details:

• The 5K Run/Walk is a stroller friendly and wheelchair friendly event.
• This is a timed race.
• While this is a very important fundraiser for Children's Health System, you are not required to raise money to participate in this event.
• Children 2 and under are free.
• The Kids Dash has a $10 entry fee which allows kid ages 3 - 10 to enjoy the 100-yard dash and the 5K if they choose to run it too.  This entry fee is paid directly to Race for Every Child.
• Packet pick up will be held at various area locations on Friday September 12. Click here for details. Packet pick up on race day will be from 7:00 to 8:15 AM.
• There is no onsite registration for the 5K or Kids Dash the day of the event.
• No refunds can be issued after purchase.
• This deal is redeemable for admission to a specific ticketed event and venue. It has no value once the event date and time has passed and is only refundable on day of purchase. Vouchers are not refunded for inclement weather. 

How to Redeem: Within 48 hours of purchasing this voucher, you will receive detailed instructions for how to register. You will be provided a unique promotional code so that you may register at www.raceforeverychild.org.  You cannot use your 12-digit CertifiKID coupon code to register.  

Expiration: You must register by 11:59PM Wednesday September 10 or your voucher will be forfeited.
