You’ll hear the adventure before you see it. Nature’s roller coaster is that awesome! As you raft downstream you’ll encounter: Bull’s Tail - Shenandoah’s mile-long Staircase, Mad Dog, White Horse, Hesitation Ledge, Roller Coaster, and more!
Harpers Ferry Adventure Center is just a stone’s throw away at the northern tip of Loudoun County in VA and on the Maryland border, in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. At just about an hour away from DC and Baltimore, it's EASY driving distance for a fabulous day of play.
White Water Rafting trips are perfect for beginner and intermediate levels. No prior experience is needed. Before you get started you’ll learn general orientation to rafting and some of the basics like:

Rafting Voucher Includes:
- All trips include: the raft, a guide in each raft, PFD (Personal Flotation Device), helmet, paddle, beverage during the trip, and shuttle to and from the river.
- One voucher required per person. Rafts seat up to 6 people.
- Valid Sundays - Fridays only.
- $42 for Monday - Friday Rafting trips ($55 Value - 24% Off)
- $49 for Sunday Rafting trips ($65 Value - 25% Off)
White water rafting trip departure times:
- Monday - Friday - 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm

For ages 5 and up and 50lbs minimum. Smallest life jacket available is for minimum of 50 lbs. Children do NOT need to know how to swim for rafting trips.
General info about Rafting:
- Reservations are required. One voucher required per person. A minimum of 4 people per raft is required for each trip.
- Please call in advance to ensure that the water levels are not too high if there has been recent heavy rain storms.
- You might get wet - so please dress appropriately. Splash tops and wetsuits are available to rent for an extra fee.
- Valid Sunday - Friday, May 31 - September 2, 2016
- VA 6% sales tax, $1 service fee and $2 river fees will need to be paid at time of reservation.
