Creative Cauldron's Arts Adventure Camps use a theme-based approach to explore the performing and visual arts. In their signature three-week performance camps, they use nature, myths and folklore to nurture a fun and engaging learning community.
Campers work with an amazing group of professional teaching artists who guide them through activities in drama, music, dance and visual art. They explore the natural world through daily treks to nearby local parks and in the summer enjoy fun afternoon swims at local pools. Science, myth, folklore and music all play a role in the development of original stories and works of art based on the theme.
All of the inspirations and ideas that bubble up throughout the session are gently shaped into an original sharing / performance which is presented for the public on the final days of the session during lunchtime performances at ArtSpace Falls Church.

Gather round the campfire for a bit of spookiness and fun as we explore some of the world’s most fascinating spirit legends. From American classics, like The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, to ghostly folktales from the British Isles, to African spirit myths and all around the globe, it doesn’t have to be Halloween to enjoy a good ghost story. The final performance is sure to entertain with just the right dose of laughter and shivers. Final Performance: August 11 at 2:00 pm
