This three-week theater experience of performing arts camp at Indian Creek School will present Disney’s Aladdin Jr. for the final performance of Summer 2022.
Campers will have the opportunity to work on singing, dancing, and drama. Each day campers will work on theater skills and practice for a Broadway style musical. Each age group will work on its own portion of the production and will be a part of the creative process. Campers will be cast in either a named role or as part of the chorus/ensemble. The final performance will be on Thursday, July 28 at 7:00 p.m. Daily lunch is included in the price of registration.
Sample daily schedule for Broadway Bound
- 9:00 a.m. Dance, Singing and Acting Warm-ups
- 9:30 a.m. Acting Class
- 10:00 a.m. Voice Class
- 10:30 a.m. Snack and Games
- 11:00 a.m. Movement and Dance for the Stage
- 11:30 a.m. Art and stagecraft
- 12:00 p.m. Lunch
- 12:30 p.m. Show time (we will watch and discuss movie musicals)
- 1:00 p.m. Full Cast Rehearsal
- 2:15 p.m. Improvisation games and continued rehearsals
- 3:00 p.m. Dismissal
