GET's theatre camps are designed for elementary through high school students (grades K-12) who can't wait to be in the SPOTLIGHT! Campers of all experience levels, grouped by age, will learn a plethora of theatre skills to take them to the next level of stagecraft.
Choose from the following camps:
Mash Up Musical Madness | 6th-12th grade | June 26-30 | 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
One part sketch comedy, one part Musical Comedy--this camp creates an original production in 5 days that is hilarious, energetic, and full of pop-culture. Students write and devise the entire thing! SNL meets GLEE!
Theatre Arts Explosion! | Grade K-5 | June 26-30 | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday & 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (showcase), Friday, June 30th
Learn all of the fun-dations of acting: Movement, voice and imagination while creating a performance for friends & family on the last day of class! Students will experience music & movement classes, visual art & design, and acting.
Improv & Sketch Fest | 6th-12th grade | July 5-7 | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Dive deep into Improvisational theatre techniques and sketch comedy writing and performance. Students spend all day learning a variety of different improv games and write their own sketch comedy scenes. Instructors work on both short and long form improv.
Improv show on the last day of camp at 5:00pm.
Operation Imagination | Grade K-5 | July 5-7 | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Calling all Elementary grade Imagination Investigators! Unlock the mysteries of imagination in this action-packed acting experience. Movement, music, creative dramatics, and storytelling in this 3-day theatre intensive for our youngest thespians.
