3-2-1 .... BLAST OFF to fun at Federation of Galaxy Explorers' SPACE CAMP this summer!
Your child will set off on an adventure of galactic proportions, with space-based Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) concepts using our core curriculum based on Engineering, Rocketry, Space Science, Earth Science, and Space Citizenship weaved throughout camp activities. However, they will be having so much fun, they will have no clue they are learning!
Mars Base Summer Camp (Grades 3-6)
Mars Base summer camp is a co-ed day camp that introduces children to space exploration in a dynamic and tangible environment. Spend the week training like an astronaut to create the first permanent outpost off our home planet! On Mars, learning how to live in a space base takes planning and is fun! Wear spacesuits, test meteor impact craters, design your own Lunar habitat, grown your own space plants, run simulations in Mission Control, and launch rockets! Camp staffers are teachers, scientists, and engineers with experience in a wide variety of space-related science and engineering fields.
ROBOTICS (Grades 7-10)
Robotics camp is a day camp that introduces robotics and programming. Campers get to build a robot and program it to operate with sensors and have friendly robot competitions. They learn how to use sensors and remotely control the robots using WiFi. Each camper keeps the robot they build!
