Music Box Series by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra at the Meyerhoff

Join the BSO's small ensemble of musicians on February 23rd at 10 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. in a 30-minute concert aimed to develop musicality, coordination, literacy and creativity in young audiences. Arrive 30 minutes prior to the show time to participate in a range of fun musical activities that will fill the lobby. This month's Music Box Series theme is: All Aboard, an exploration in traveling to new places.

Valentine Workshop at the Holt Park and Center for the Arts - FREE
Let your inner artist shine! Visit Holt Park and Center for the Arts on Sunday, February 10th between 1 - 5 p.m. for their Valentine's Day Workshop. Artists and naturalists will demonstrate their favorite mediums for making valentines and give you a chance to create your own hand-made valentines to take home. On February 10th at 2 p.m. Tapestries with Arianna Ross will perform an immersive performance with music, dancing, storytelling and art-aiming to enrich world knowledge. Wake Up Groundhog at the Oregon Ridge Nature Center, Cockeysville, MD
Will we have six more weeks of winter? Learn about Groundhog Day, the lore and history of the adorable critter, on February 3rd from 1-3 p.m. at the Oregon Ridge Nature Center, Wake Up Groundhog special event. Make sure to dress appropriately for a short hike to see where the groundhog may be hiding out. Recommend for ages 5 and up. Advanced registration is required.
