Wegmeyer Farms provides an authentic experience as you enjoy delicious, juicy strawberries “as-fresh-as-it-gets” at their pick-your-own fields. Picking strawberries is the perfect opportunity to learn about where our food comes from or to remind yourself just how flavorful fresh berries are supposed to taste.
Wegmeyer strawberries are grown on raised plastic beds, which keeps the berries clean, dirt-free and makes for easy picking. Perfect for the littlest pickers in the bunch!
Strawberry picking season runs from early May - early/mid June. This deal gets you admission to the farm and a big ole bucket of berries - about 4 quarts' worth! Choose from two U-Pick locations in Hamilton (Home Farm) or Leesburg (Oatlands Plantation). Purchase your vouchers early but reservations do not open until the season opens around May 6th!

What You Need to Know:

Choose from two U-Pick locations in Hamilton (Home Farm & Taylor Road Farm) or one U-Pick location in Leesburg (Oatlands Plantation).

Purchase your vouchers early but reservations do not open until the season opens in early May!

Voucher is valid Monday - Thursday ONLY from early-May through June 10, 2024 (or whenever strawberry season ends).
- NOT valid on weekends or the following dates: Thursday May 16, Friday, May 17, Monday, May 27 (Memorial Day).
- Bucket holds approximately 4 quarts (approximately 5 pounds) of strawberries.
- Limit 1 voucher per person per visit.
- Ripening of strawberries is dependent on the weather. Please call 540-751-1782 before visiting to verify that a good supply is available on the day you want to pick.
- Recommend picking early or late in the day, when it is cooler and bringing along an insulated cooler to keep strawberries cool on the drive home.
- No pets are allowed in the berry field.
- There are portable restrooms on site, along with hand sanitizing stations.

Expiration:
- June 10, 2024 or when strawberry season ends, which is tentatively early June.
- Please call or check the Wegmeyer Farms website or Facebook page to make sure they are open and still have strawberries available for picking.
