Join us for an alpaca-packed adventure! Your Premier Alpaca Experience will begin at Black Barn Alpacas with a guided tour of our grounds where you will learn about alpaca care and handling, our breeding program, the unique properties of alpaca fleece, and the history of our property. Then, you will be given the opportunity to feed our alpacas (feed included!) and enter the pens for an extended up-close meet-and-greet with our fluffy friends! Be sure to have your cameras ready!

After your tour you are welcome to enjoy a packed lunch at one of our picnic tables, or bring a blanket to have a picnic closer to nature. Amenities and lawn games included. We are a BYOB venue - please drink responsibly.

What You Need to Know:

• Valid Thursday through Sunday.
• April Tour Times - 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
• May Tour Times - 10am, 12:30pm and 3:30pm.
• Duration - 1.5 - 2 hours.
• Perfect for all ages!
• Children 2 and under are FREE and don't require a ticket.
• We encourage you to pack a picnic or BYOB.
• Reservations must be made at least 1-hour prior to visitors' preferred Premier Alpaca Experience date and time.

What to Wear:

• Closed-toe shoes are required when visiting the ranch.
• BBA encourages boots or tennis shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. Keep in mind that alpacas do occasionally spit, so wearing your Sunday best is not recommended.
• During the warmer months, you may want to consider applying sunscreen and/or bug spray.
