Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon: Stay-at-Home Edition
By Kim HumphreyPosted Mar 19, 2020

Kevin Bacon, famously known for being Hollywood's most interconnected star, is playing off his "six degrees of Kevin Bacon" fame to encourage his millions of social followers to stay home to help stop the spread of Coronavirus and save lives.
Using the six degrees concept, Bacon explained in his Instagram video how the contact you make with someone who then makes contact with someone else, may be what makes somebody's mom, or grandpa, or wife sick.

"We're all connected by various degrees (Trust me, I know!)," said Bacon in his Instagram post. "Join me and post a video or photo with a sign like this, with "IStayHomeFor, telling who you are staying home for, & tag 6 friends. Let's work together to stay home and keep each other safe."

Bacon cited his wife and fellow actor Kyra Sedgwick as his reason to self-isolate and tagged friends Jimmy Fallon, Elton John, Brandi Carlile, Kevin Hart, Demi Lovato and David Beckham to follow suit. "Let's use this 6 Degree thing to do some good!"
Let's all get behind Kevin Bacon and #StayAtHome! After all, if the most interconnected guy in the world can do it, so can we.
