In theory, a family could visit Fun Fore All once a week for two months and always find something new to do. During one visit, they might play one of the 60+ available arcade games; during the next, they might wander around the four-story jungle gym Ballocity or use a round of bumper boats to decide who has to pay that month's yacht insurance. Fun Fore All offers both seasonal and year-round activities. One of the most exciting and newest attraction is the XD Dark Ride. It is designed to entertain the whole family and includes riding, running, flying, and falling through different worlds. XD Dark Ride is a 3D experience and a game at the same time; participants can blaster to score points and compete in getting the highest note. The year-round attractions include an arcade, Ballocity—a three-story play area outfitted with 30-plus interactive features, including a four-story slide and guests can stay properly fueled for all this action, too, thanks to a snack bar stocked with sandwiches, pizza, wings, and wraps.

For their son's first birthday party, husband-and-wife duo Ryan and Megan rented a bounce house. When they saw the complete delight on the faces of the young guests, they decided to go all in, and opened Planet Bounce Pittsburgh. The outer-space-themed play zone fills 6,000 square feet with four massive bounce houses, including an enormous obstacle course with climbing walls and slides. The rest of the space is dedicated to kids running wild, refueling at the cafe, and celebrating birthday get-togethers in private party rooms. Designed as a safe space where kids can play and make friends, making sure littler kids are never in danger of getting bullied or learning geometry from high-schoolers before they're ready. Older patrons are always welcomed when helping the younger guests.

Opened in 1965, Rostraver Ice Garden, a 5,000-seat multi-purpose ice arena, has been home to multiple hockey teams, like the Steel City Warriors of the Federal Hockey League. So for the average skater, its professional facilities are more than enough. The main attraction is obviously the rink, which hosts open skating and seasonal hockey games. But visitors unaccustomed to skating needn't worry—a pro shop supplies rental equipment, and skating classes guide beginners through the basics. Then, after a day on the rink, tired guests can refuel with a burger and a beer while overlooking the arena at Murph’s Pub.

At Fun Slides Carpet Skatepark & Party Center's 33,000-square-foot, black-lit fun zone, kids learn a new way to skate: carpet skating. Instead of lacing up rollerblades or hopping on a skateboard and cruising over concrete, kids strap smooth, plastic plates onto their shoes and glide across safe carpeted surfaces. They glide down slides, shoot over obstacles, and even show off on ramps and rails, navigating the carpet park as though they were wearing actual skates. Best of all, the activity is easy to master, and instructors provide guidance until kids are ready to glide off on their own.
