Your stay in the Timbers Inn is in either a slope side Balcony Room (that sleeps 4) or in an Expanded Standard Room that sleeps up to 6 people with 2 Queen beds and a futon separated from the rest of the room by a half wall. Both room types includes all the comfort that make a perfect stay -- a flat screen high definition TV, cable, free wi-fi, coffee pot, small fridge and microwave.
Timberline Four Seasons Resort is full of summer adventures surrounded by state parks, a national wildlife refuge, art galleries, golf courses, festivals and special events. It is also known as "The Best Kept Secret in the Southeast" for its awesome skiing with 39 trails!
The local area has SO many things to do. - Located in the Canaan Valley, about 3 hours from Washington DC and 4 hours from Baltimore.
- Most online directions services do not recognize Timberline's address. When typing in your destination put in Timberline Four Seasons Resort as the location and Davis, WV 26260. Please note that you will be turning onto Timberline Road off of Route 32, not Cortland Road or Canaan Heights Road.
Purchase of this CertifiKID voucher is valid for 2 nights in a Balcony Room for 4 or Expanded Standard Room for up to 6 PLUS four 1-hour horseback rides at Timberline Four Season Resort.
- Black out dates are July 1-4, August 19-20 and September 2-5, 2016
Additional Information:
- Rooms are based upon availability.
- Expanded Standard Rooms sleep up to 6.
- Balcony Rooms sleep up to 4.
- If you have children under 8 years old, please let Timberline know so that special arrangements can be made for the trail ride.
- The stable will provide helmets for the trail ride. Boots or sneakers and pants are preferred to ride. Must be under 240 pounds to ride.
- Timberline restaurants are only open on the weekends.
- Timberline Stables is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
- Taxes of 12% are paid directly to Timberline Four Seasons Resort at check-in.
