There is something special about the way kids bond with animals, especially with horses. Maybe it's that horses, like kids, consider fun a serious business. This could be one of the reasons why spending a summer day amongst the hay and play at Hunt View Farm is fun for all.

Hunt View Farm's Summer Riding Club is a place where fun abounds and safety is first. Rounding out the field are rich, interactive and authentic outdoor experiences for kids ages 8-16 that focus of learning about and hanging out with horses. With kid-centric activities including Horse Class, “How To” demonstrations, riding lessons, picnics, nature hikes, fishing, and tack care all offered up in a beautiful country setting just around the corner in Montgomery County.

On the first day of each Riding Club Session, all campers are assessed by Hunt View’s lead instructor (not by an instructor-in-training). Each camper receives tailored instruction according to their riding level, interests, and safety needs. All students will have two horseback riding lessons per day on different horses from the lead instructor, plus lots more fun!

RIDING CLUB ACTIVITIES
* Horse safety, horse care, grooming, tacking & care
* Two supervised lessons with lead instructor each day, on an array of different lesson horses
* Trail rides in the protected Agricultural Reserve

• Flat sole and small heeled shoes required; small heeled shoes required to ride and flat shoes required for everything else;
