Sarah Kaup Photography shoots everything from newborns to weddings to nature, but there is a special place in her heart for photographing children and observing the touching relationships they have with their parents and the world around them. Sarah likes nothing more than getting those candid shots of kids just being themselves...those genuine smiles, laughs, pouts, and inquisitive faces…and not always POSED!

Her sessions are very relaxed and intended to be fun for everyone. She is known to say "we're on THEIR schedule"....meaning the little ones. There’s no sense in rushing the “stars” of the shoot; you won’t get any genuine responses out of that!  Sarah loves nature, architecture, art, and especially people!  During her shoots, she tries to incorporate any and all of those things along with her client's own personalities and passions.

Her goal is to create fresh, fun, and sincere family portraiture that her clients will cherish forever.

Special quote from Sarah: "Growing up, I always loved taking pictures. However, it wasn't until I became a mother, that I truly grasped how important a photograph can be. Our entire life is made up of moments. Some are more obvious than others, like a wedding or the birth of a
child.  While most moments come and go like a soft breeze, that doesn't mean that they are any less special.  The lingering touch of a husband, the adoring gaze of a mother, the innocent and excited expression on a child's face the first time they see something new. These are moments that happen all the time, but we never really get the chance to savor them.  My approach and goal in photography is to give people the opportunity to finally savor them forever.  I like to capture all of those moments, big and small, in a warm, timeless and artistic style."

Information & Restrictions

Includes a 1-2 hour on location Mommy & Me session and choice of a set of (3 identical) wallet sized custom mini books containing up to
10 of your favorite images or one  3/4" x 1 3/16" lead free pewter pendant with antique silver coating.

Location shoot is to be within 15 miles of Alexandria, VA.

Shoot includes up to 4 children...any additional children will be an additional $35.00.

Session must be redeemed before August 31, 2011.

Within 2 weeks of session, a 20-30 edited proofs will be available to view in a private online gallery and order at an additional cost.
