Digging, exploring, examining! Designing, mixing, creating! Stretching, balancing, focusing! These are all a part of the fun and educational experience at Camp IO!
At Camp IO, children ages 5-12 have fun with hands-on science activities and making cool things. They take a look at how everyday objects work and the world around them. Each day, campers switch their outer science tools for a yoga mat and learn about the inner science of yoga. They learn about fun and easy ways to stay healthy and harmonize their bodies, minds and energy to decrease stress, increase endurance and improve focus.
Camp IO offers children a safe, fun, encouraging and enriching environment to learn and practice the outer science of engineering and the inner science of yoga. All of our activities combine inquiry-based learning with the STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics) initiative in mind.

Glue, Paper, Scissors | June 26th – June 30th
Have fun discovering the art and science of papercrafting! Sketch, measure, cut and glue a variety of designs. Build paper model polyhedra ornaments, figures, and even paper food art! Use what you’ve learned to create your own original paper art pieces.
Light & Color| July 3rd & July 5th - 7th
Learn how to create your own optical illusions. Experiment with lasers and mirrors. Explore materials that glow in the dark and daylight. Learn about LEDs and how we can use them for work and play
Scientific Investigator: Camp Crime Scene | July 10th – July 14th -

One of Camp IO's most popular themes returns with more chemical reactions, surprises, and science you can eat! Explore whacky culinary combinations that will make you scratch your head. Investigate organic vs. conventional and natural vs. chemical.
Woodworking | August 7th – August 11th - SOLD OUT !!
Learn about power tools and how to safely use them. Use planks, nuts, bolts and screws to construct original wooden sculptures; big and small. An expert from DeWalt® will demonstrate how a professional tool goes from an idea to a real-life product!
You Can Invent It! | August 14th – August 18th - SOLD OUT !!
Necessity is the mother of invention! Use teamwork, imagination and critical thinking skills to design a brand new product. Learn about trademarks and patents. At the end of the week, have your design reviewed by a panel of field experts.
The Science of Sound | August 21st – August 25th - SOLD OUT !!
Learn about vibration and sound waves. Play with synthesizers and learn about their history. Experiment with electronic circuits to make your own crazy blips and bleeps. Experience sound meditation and practice deep listening techniques.

There is no need to choose your desired camp weeks now. You will choose your desired summer camp weeks when you register with Camp IO (see below) after purchasing your voucher(s).

Every camper will receive a Camp IO t-shirt, required to be worn every day. Additional t-shirts can be purchased from Camp IO.

Campers bring their own lunches. Lunch is provided on Friday.

Daily snacks are provided.

Camp IO is a nut-free environment.
